1. Volunteer Appreciation Lunch This Sunday
Reminder: All current and future children's ministry and nursery volunteers are invited to stay for lunch after the service this Sunday, August 24. Still need to RSVP? Check your email for the link or email Martha Rodriguez (children@tuckerpres.org).
2. Jane Austen Event Tomorrow
Reminder: Come out to Brenda Cox's talk tomorrrow evening, Thursday, August 21 at 6:30 pm at the Lilburn Library. For more info and to sign up click this link: gwinnettpl.libnet.info... All welcome!
3. Meal Train Sign-up
If you're able, please consider supporting the Finnells by bringing them a meal (or provide a meal via Doordash!) as Martha recovers from surgery. Sign up here and please note that there are a few additional family members staying with her as she recuperates.
4. Church-wide Pool Party and Fellowship
Mark your calendars! The entire church family is invited to the Scharfenbergs' home (2773 Indian Trail Dr., Tucker) on Sunday, August 31 after morning worship. Come enjoy lunch, pool time, karaoke, ping pong, air hockey, and fellowship! Please bring a side dish or dessert to share. Contact Michelle at 215-206-1924 for more info. If you or your family intend to swim, don't forget swimsuits, towels, and life vests for your little ones!
5. Reading Volunteers Needed!
Can you spare an hour a week to read to kindergarteners? Nesbit Elementary is once again looking for volunteers to come read to students. Volunteers are needed on Wednesdays or Fridays. Please contact Sue Serio (sueserio4@gmail.com) to let her know you're able to help or for more information.
6. Metanoia Prison Ministries Benefit & Art Auction
All are invited to attend a benefit and art auction to raise support for Metanoia Prison Ministries. This special event will be held at Westminster Presbyterian Church, from 6-8 pm on Thursday, September 25. Dinner will be served. RSVP by September 11. Contact Rev.
