Our Honduras Mission Trip team arrived safely back in Atlanta last Sunday morning after a successful week serving alongside Gracia Soberana Church, which continues to thrive and grow.
Much of the week was spent helping construct a new school building for the children of local trash dump workers. Our team laid concrete, built gates, bent rebar for pillars, and prepared the ground for the foundation.
The team also had the opportunity to spend time with the 180 children who attend the Christian school, which provides an affordable alternative to local public schools. One day, the team was also able to deliver lunch to the trash dump workers.
It was a meaningful and rewarding week of service, relationship building, and supporting the work God is doing through Gracia Soberana Church and the local believers running the school.
