2. Children's Christmas Craft Event
Attention parents and grandparents! Bring your elementary-aged kids, grandkids, or neighborhood friends to the TPC church office this Saturday, December 6 at 10 am for a special TPC children's Christmas event. We'll make a simple Christmas craft, hear a short Christmas story, and enjoy a light snack. If you'd like to help or have questions, email Martha Rodriguez.

3. Women's Christmas Lunch & Advent Study Invite
  • Ladies of all ages, don’t miss our Christmas lunch this Sunday from 12-2 pm at Nesbit. We'll begin with a simple service project and hear a devotion from Awara Fernandez on Beauty at Christmas. Please RSVP to help us plan.
  • Sarah Taylor invites any interested women to join her in a short advent study to prepare to celebrate Christ’s incarnation. Email Sarah for more information.

4. Next Two Sundays: Feasibility Study Presentation
Come hear more about the findings of Canaan Group Church's Feasibility Study. TPC members of the study team will present the results of the study and answer questions. Choose from one of two options to hear the presentation:
  • THIS Sunday, December 7 at 9:30 am at Nesbit Elementary
  • Sunday, December 14 at 5:30 pm at Main Street Church Fellowship Hall (after our potluck and before our community caroling)
CG's summary of their findings and recommendations for our congregation can be found here: TPC Congregational Study Summary Report

5. Volunteers Needed to Help Move Boxes
Stacy Elder with Friends of Refugees is looking for some volunteers willing to help carry boxes of food. Please read her request:
We have 275 boxes of non-perishable food getting delivered to us on Friday, December 12 at 1 pm (at one of our Clarkston locations). I need help moving the boxes from outside into a classroom - a short distance and no stairs! Boxes weigh about 13 lbs. each. We'll be distributing these boxes to families attending our Winter Festival the following day. Those interested can contact me at stacy@friendsofrefugees.org and I will send them the exact location.
