Our worship Sunday centered on the surpassing worth of Jesus Christ. In John 12:1–11, Mary anoints Jesus with expensive perfume, displaying her devotion to her Lord. We are called to treasure Christ above all else, giving him the honor and praise due his holy name for the salvation we have in him.
