MORNING WORSHIP - 10:30 AM
Sermon Text: Psalm 73 - Why Do Good Things Happen to Bad People? (Rev. Coleman Erkens)
Worship Highlight: Our worship this morning is focused on the goodness of God and
the blessedness of serving Him. Sometimes we are tempted to think God isn’t good or
worth serving because we see the prosperity of the wicked. God calls us to turn to Him
and be reminded of His wisdom and justice. It is good to be near God!
Scripture: Psalm 73:1; Job 21:7-15; Job 40:1-8; Lamentations 3:21-24; Matthew 5:2-11; Luke 18:1-7
Hymns: Thou Who Wast Rich beyond All Splendor; Praise to the Lord, the Almighty; O the Deep, Unbounded Riches; Christ Our Hope in Life and Death; Jesus I am Resting, Resting; Psalm 73 – In Sweet Communion, Lord, with Thee
