MORNING WORSHIP - 10:30 AM
Sermon Text: Malachi 1:6-14 - The Polluted Offerings and the Pure Offering (Rev. Erik Veerman)
Worship Summary: In our worship this week, we praise the Lord for the once and for all offering of Jesus Christ for our sin. In Malachi 1:6-14, the people had been bringing polluted offerings to the Lord and therefore dishonoring his name. He calls them (and us) to instead honor him as the great King, for a “pure offering” (1:11) has been made.
Scripture: Revelation 15:3-4; Leviticus 22:17-25; Hebrews 9:11-14; Hebrews 10:11-14
Hymns: Let the Nations be Glad; O Worship the King; Before the Throne; Be Thou My Vision; At the Lamb’s High Feast We Sing; Let the Nations be Glad
